These are wonderful! They are moist, yummy & more nutritious than the average brownie! They will be a regular at our house. Not only that, I am going to bring some to Christmas dinner! Thank you so much for sharing.
Be sure to use LIGHT olive oil & whole wheat pastry flour! - 12/14/08

I couldn't wait so I tasted the batter off the spoon. The olive oil was very strong and I was skeptical. Once they were baked I had 1 piece, then another, then another x 3. Oops! So much for portion control! They were great! - 6/22/09

These are to die for. Have made three batches and still going. Great Christmas gifts. - 12/14/08

I liked these, but my mom and most of the rest of my family didn't care for them. They aren't exactly brownies so much as a cake. - 7/24/10

These were really good. I used dark chocolate cocoa powder & added about 2-3 tablespoons more than the 1/4 cup in the recipe so they would be more chocolately. Also added 1/2 cup of vegan semisweet chocolate chips to the dry mixture before mixing the liquid into & it was a really nice touch. - 7/19/09

Yuk! I followed the recipe exactly, the olive oil was overbearing. I'm throwing them into the garbage. - 9/6/08

I loved the cakey textures, I followed the recipe exactly, except forgot the vanilla. I would add some nuts next time for some added texture. Tasty. - 5/7/08

Tried with and without chocolate frosting...they weren't terrible, but I won't make them again. I did use applesauce in place of oil, but otherwise stuck to the recipe. - 5/5/08

    Good but a little dry. - 3/17/07

These are delicious. I use a little extra cocoa, subbed peanut oil for the olive oil, used part real maple syrup and part "lite", plus added chopped walnuts on top. Calories came out to be the same and these are great healthy snacks! They really would be great with chocolate chips, too! - 1/23/10

These were good for a healthy recipe. They didn't have enough chocolate flavor for me, but still nice, and I had two servings! I sprinkled half w/chocolate chips right out of the oven and then spread it to make chocolate icing. (Figured I'd have a better chance getting my kids to try them!) - 7/16/09

My boyfriend made these with his 12 year old daughter and I had to throw most of them away. They were not sweet AT ALL and the didn't have a whole lot of cocoa flavor. I agree with the comment about that i haven't been dieting long enough for these to taste good. - 1/20/09

Everybody in the office loved them - 8/11/08

These brownies are very moist and good too.Have had chocolate zucchini cake in the past, but never brownies. Will definitely make again and again! - 4/24/08

I used sugar free maple syrup and they were moist and tasty. I used zucchini that I had pre packaged shredded from the freezer. - 4/24/08

Well, these brownies came out extremely moist. I used sorghum molasses, 1/4 tsp salt, two 9x9 pans, and spelt flour. I only had sorghum. I am watching my salt intake. I didn't have 9x13 pan. I only bake with spelt flour. I cooked each pan 15 min with no problems. My brother ate it anyway w/zucchini! - 12/12/07

Ok taste, semi-moist, just not sweet enough for me. I added sugar-free chocolate frosting (used 3/4 of a can for 9x13 pan of brownies). Much better! My kids loved them after this! - 10/15/07

Lacking flavor. Look chocolatey but are dissappointing when you take a bite, bland with a chocolate taste that is "off". Very moist though. - 7/3/07

These are wonderful! Mine turned out fudgey! - 6/21/07

Edible but tasted a lot like sand. My wheat flour was a bit old and very coarse ao I bought new, smoother wheat flour and will try it again. My friend LOVED it and she ate the whole pan. - 3/12/07

I only had a small zucchini on hand so I halved the recipe. I also only have regular olive oil, so I used half olive oil and a quarter canola oil and a quarter applesauce. They are yummy, not too sweet, and kill the chocolate craving. I think even my veggie hating husband might like these! - 7/24/10

Yummy! The only whole wheat flour I had was really course, so I used oat flour instead. I also doubled the cocoa. - 8/29/09

Maybe I did something wrong, but these weren't sweet at all - good for some I guess, but I need a little sweetness & flavor! Very moist and brownie/cake-like, just not really good flavor. I ended up frosting them to make them edible - kind of defeats the purpose! : ( - 8/12/09

YuK! not very tasty. - 1/21/09
