1 pkg bob's red mill 5 grain rolled whole grain hot cereal, plus flaxseed1/2 c. brown sugar1 c. raw sunflower seeds (unsalted)1/2 c. chopped pecans2 tsp. cinnamon1 tsp. salt1/3 c. canola oil1/4 c. honey1 tsp. vanilla extract1/2 cup water1 c. raisins
1. Preheat the oven to 300F.
2. In a large bowl, combine the cereal mix, sugar, sunflower seeds, pecans, cinnamon and salt. In a separate bowl, combine the oil, honey, vanilla and water. Pour over the dry ingredients and mix until blended. Spread in a greased 9x13 pan.
3. Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven, stirring every 20 minutes, or until toasted. Let cool completely and add the raisins. Store in an airtight container.
Makes 20 - 1/3 c. servings.
