12 gound beef , leanbaby carrots, raw, thin sliced100 gramscelery, raw sliced thin, 100 gramsgreen bell pepper, chopped, 100 gramsonion, raw, chopped, 1 cuplentils, 100 grams3 garlic cloves, minced2tbsp, basil(dried)pich od ground pepper
in a skillet, over medium heat, brown ground beef, breaking up in chunks. Add carrots celery,onion,green bell pepper,basil, lentilsgarlic,tomatoes, tomato paste and ground pepper to taste, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 20 to 30 minutes or until vegetables and beans are tender and flavors is well developed. Makes 5 cups (1.25L) or 10 servings.
