Penne Alla "Not-Ka"

Ingredients
12 oz wheat pasta2 tsp olive oil3 cloves garlic1/2 C onion3/4 tsp salt1/8 tsp pepper20 oz whole canned tomatoes1/4 C heavy cream6 tbsp evaporated milk1/3 C parmesan cheese1-2 tbsp sugar1/4 fresh chopped basil
Directions
cook pasta. puree tomatoes. heat oil on low and add garlic till browned, then add onion till soft. add tomato puree, salt and red pepper and simmer for 10 min. add cream and milk and simmer another minute. add pasta, basil, cheese, and pepper.
