Pork Chops Mexicana

Ingredients
3 cups uncooked white riceTomato Sauce, 15 oz. canTaco Seasoning Mix, 1 packet 4 center cut pork chops1 tsp salt1 tsp black pepper3 cups water2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
Directions
Brown pork chops with salt and pepper. Place in bottom of casserole. Sprinkle rice over chops. Mix taco seasoning, water, and tomato sauce, and pour on top. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 1 hour. Remove and top with cheese. Return to oven for 15 minutes. Serves 4

    I halved everything except the chops, served with green beans/green chili & a dinner salad. Plenty to eat, & the calories were reasonable. - 6/1/09
