Ingredients
* *Whole Wheat SPIRAL PASTA (dry), 16 oz MEASURING CUP. * Broccoli, fresh, 4 cup, TOPS BROKEN * Carrots, raw,1/2 cup, chopped * Peas, canned, 1 cup * Onions, raw, 1 medium CHOPPED * Parsley, dried, 2 tbsp * Kraft Mayo Fat Free Mayonnaise Salad Dressing, 8 tbsp OR 1/2 CUP * Kraft Light Done Right Ranch Salad Dressing, 8 tbsp OR 1/2 CUP * Milk, 2%, 1/4 cup * Garlic, 1 tsp DICED * Garlic powder, 1 tbsp * *Onion powder, 1 tbsp * Salt, 1 tbsp
Directions
IN LARGE POT PUT WATER TO BOIL. SPRINKLE IN ALL THE SALT, GARLIC POWDER, ONION POWDER, AND DICED GARLIC. CUT CARROTS AND PUT THEM IN, ALSO PUT IN THE BROCCOLI. CHOPPED THE ONION AND DROP IT IN TOO. WHEN THE WATER STARTS TO BOIL GOOD PUT IN THE PASTA. STIR OFTEN AS NOT TO STICK ON THE BOTTOM.
IN A LARGE BOWL WITH LID, MIX THE MAYONNAISE, & MILK. PUT IN THE RANCH DRESSING MIX. SET IN FRIDGE TO STAY COLD.
WHEN PASTA IS TENDER POUR WHOLE POT IN THE SINK THOUGH A STRAINER. RINSE WITH COLD WATER TO STOP THE COOKING PROCESS. LET DRAIN. WHEN THE PASTA IS DRAINED WELL AND COOLED MIX IT WITH THE RANCH MIXTURE. YOU MIGHT NEED MORE RANCH AND YOU STIR TO COAT THE PASTA AND VEGGIES. DON'T OVER DO IT. STIR IN THE PARSLEY FLAKES.
THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE A LIGHT & HEALTHY DISH.
YOU CAN EAT IT AS A SIDE DISH WITH YOUR MEAT AND ANOTHER VEGGIE OR FRUIT. OR YOU CAN PUT A LAYER OF LETTUCE IN A BOWL AND SCOOP SOME PASTA SALAD OVER THE BED OF LETTUCE. ENJOY!!!
