Sweet Onion Cornbread

8.5 ounce box of Jiffy corn muffin mix1 can creamed corn3 dashes tabasxo1 large egg2 large oinions, sliced4 T butter or margarine1 cup fat-free sour cream2 cups 2% cheddar cheese1/4 cup fat-free milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and spray 9X12 baking pan with vegetable oil spray
Mix Jiffy mix, creamed corn, tabasco, and egg. Spread in pan.
Microwave onions and butter in bowl lightly covered with plastic wrap for about 10 minutes, stirring after 1 minute and again after 5 minutes, until soft. Add sourcream, 1 cup shredded cheese and milk to onions. spoon over cornbread mixture. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake 45-50 minutes.
Let cool 5 minutes and then slice in 3x4 inch pieces and serve.
