American "Chop Suey"

Ingredients
1 c elbow macaroni1/2 lb lean ground beef1/2 tsp peanut or other oil1/2 onion diced1 can tomato soup
Directions
Boil water for macaroni. Dice onion and brown in oil. While macaroni boils, brown beef in pan with onion. Drain beef/onion mixture in colander. Drain macaroni over beef mixture to remove any residual fats. Combine all ingredients with can of tomato soup.
