Bread Machine Pretzels

Ingredients

1 c. + 1 Tbsp. Warm Water1 Tbsp. Oil3 c. bread flour1 Teas. salt1 Tbsp. Sugar1 Egg white1 Tbsp. waterCourse salt (to sprinkle on during baking)Butter
Put 1st five ing. into bread machine (in order). Select dough cycle (mine is #9).
Once dough is ready, cut into 14 strips and roll each strip til it reaches about 15" long, tying each strip into the "pretzel knot". Put on greased pan and let rise 20 - 25 min.
Boil large pot of water, adding 3 Tbsp. salt to water. Dunk each pretzel, top side down first, and turn after 1 min. Total boil time for pretzels - 2 min. Drain on paper towels (briefly) and transfer immed. to greased pan. Preheat oven to 375* at this time.
Mix egg white and 1 tbsp. water. Brush onto pretzels. Add course salt and bake approx.20 - 25 min.
Can add melted butter or marg. once they're out of oven.
