Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients
1 1/2 C. Sugar2 Eggs1/2 C. Applesauce1 C. Pumpkin 1 3/4 C. Flour1/2 tsp. Cinnamon1/2 tsp. Nutmeg1/4 tsp. Allspice3/4 C. Chopped Pecans or Walnuts
Directions
Combine sugar, eggs and applesauce in bowl and mix well with spoon or on low with mixer, add pumpkin and mix. Mix dry ingredients and add gradually, mixing well. Fold in chopped nuts.

I add chocolate chips to the loaves I make for my husband and kids (not figured in calories).

Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean.

Makes one loaf (12 servings).
