OLD FASHIONED HOMEMADE VEGETABLE SOUP

Ingredients
1/2 c. Onions, raw and chopped1/2 c. Potato, raw, diced1/4 can (12 oz.) Yellow Whole Kernel Sweet Corn, drained1/2 c. Carrots, raw, chopped1/4 c. Pinto Beans, partially cooked1/2 c. Green Snap Beans2 cans. Stewed Tomatoes, undrained1/2 c. Fresh Broccoli, chopped and diced1 T. Black Pepper2 T. Garlic Powder1/4 tsp. Crushed Red Pepper Flakes1 tsp. Mrs. Dash Original Blend2 c. Water
Directions
Combine all ingredients in large (4 qt. saucepan). Bring to a rolling boil, stirring frequently.
Turn burner to lowest level and cook for 2 hours. Be sure to stir frequently to avoid sticking. If Soup is too thick, add more water or tomatoes. Serve with crackers. Makes approx. 5-6 servings.

TIP: Frozen, cut Okra can be added to ingredients before cooking. You can also substitute veggies as you wish.

    I used a crock pot because I was working the whole day, but I followed this to a 'T' and added Peas .. and it was FANTASTIC! So keep in mind .. 8hrs in the crock-pot on High .. and it's Fab :) Thanks - 9/8/09
