1 Can Dark Red Kidney Beans1 Can Light Red Kidney Beans1 Can Tomato Sauce1 Can Tomato PasteCumin PowderChili Powder1 Onion, chopped and divided in half1 Pound Lean Ground beef
Brown ground beef and half of onion in a pot, adding some chili powder. Once cooked, add the both cans of kidney beans, the tomato paste, and other half of the onion. Add tomato sauce, then rinse can and fill 3/4 to full with water and add to pot. Mix together, then cover top with chili powder and add some cumin powder. Allow to simmer to desired thickness.
Depending on your tastes, you can use more or less of the chili and cumin powders, and add jalenpenos for extra spiceyness.
Makes 8 to 10 servings (1 serving= about 1 cup)
