Vidalia Sweet Onion Cookies

Ingredients
1/2 c margerine1 c sugar1 c chopped cooked Vidalia onions1 c cooked squash (yellow or crookneck)2 c flour1 t baking powder1 t baking soda1/2 t salt1 T cinnamon1 t vanilla
Directions
Combine margarine and sugar in a mixing bowl with mixer. Cream until smooth and fluffy. Add onions and squash: cream. Combine flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cinnamon in sifter. Sift into creamed mixture with mixer. Add vanilla. Mix. Bake on greased baking sheets at 375 degree F for 12 minutes.
