Ingredients
Onions, raw, 1.5 small (remove)Garlic, 2 clove (remove)Cardamom, ground, .5 tsp (remove)Cloves, ground, .5 tsp (remove)Pepper, black, .5 tsp (remove)Chili powder, 1 tsp (remove)Cinnamon, ground, .5 tsp (remove)*Cumin seed, 1 tsp (remove)Turmeric, ground, 1 tsp (remove)Ginger, ground, .5 tsp (remove)Heinz Pure White Vinegar, 1.5 tbsp (remove)*Pork, fresh, loin, center rib (chops), boneless, separable lean and fat, cooked, pan-fried, 2 chop, excluding refuse (yield from (remove)4 carrots, dicedOlive Oil, 1 tbsp (remove)
Directions
Mix 1 onion, garlic, all spices, and vinegar in food processor to form paste. Mix 1/4 of this paste with pork cubes. Marinate at least 4 hours.

Saute onion and carrot in oil until onion tender and brown. Add remaining paste and stir over very low heat for 3 minutes.

Add pork, and 1/8 cup water. Simmer covered 1 hour.

Serve with basmati rice.

    I added a bit more chili powder and some curry for a more authentic Indian flavor, but it's an alltogether wonderful recipe - 7/15/09
