strawberry - rhubarb pie filling/topping/sauce

Ingredients
4 C. chunk cut rhubarb4C. halved strawberries1/3 C. cornstarch 1/2 C. water 1/2 C. sugar1 C. splendaWater just enough to cover rhubarb in pot.
Directions
In sauce pan mix rhubarb, sugar, and a little water, let set 15min. Mix corn starch with 1/2 c water to make a paste. Add enough water to just cover rhubarb and bring to a boil then cook on medium for 5 min. Add cornstarch mix cook 1 min. then add strawberries and stir until mixture thickens and turns clear. about 5 min. or less as soon as you take pot off the heat add splenda. stir well. Let cool and enjoy over on or in is your choice.

Makes ABOUT 8- 10 servings of 1/2C each.
