I have not tasted Panera's dressing but, loved it despite cutting the Olive oil down to 3 tbspns! Love the fact that there is not much sodium.....thanks. - 5/30/09

Hey, thanks for the note! I typo'd the Olive oil! It's corrected now -- I used just 2 T.

I've not had Panara's version but will have this one often. It's very good. - 10/27/20

I loved this dressing. I added about 2 Tbl of water to thin it out. 1 Tablespoon of garlic powder and onion powder was a bit strong for my taste. - 2/16/17

I made this with apple cider rather than the concentrate. Added Splenda (1 tsp) to make up for the sweetness that was lacking due to not using the concentrate. - 7/21/16

The dressing you are all craving has been available at any wild wings in Canada since November 2015. Go Wild, Stay Wild - 3/1/16

I made this dressing, I multiplied everything times 10. When I got to the onion and garlic powder I knew something was wrong so I only added 2 tablespoons of each. It turned out great. I let it sit over night so the flavors would marry. So now for the price of one salad at Paneras I can make several - 7/19/15

Skip the Dijon mustard, also add 1/2 cup10X powdered sugar, blend and refridgerate to get the true flavor of Panera's. For true color, all ingrediants must be white or clear. I' m guessing Donna's "T'" means teaspoon? not tablespoon. Teaspoon is Tsp. And Tablespoon is Tbsp., in most recipes. - 10/5/14

It just occurred to me that if Panera refrigerates their dressing, the oils in the dressing will "freeze" and olive oil will turn a light yellow color. This could explain why Panera's dressing is lighter than how this recipe comes out. Just a thought. - 1/10/14

    My final proportions were:

    7tbsp apple juice concentrate
    3tbsp extra virgin olive oil
    1tsp onion powder
    1tsp garlic powder
    2tbsp white balsamic vinegar
2tbsp apple cider vinegar (used Bragg's raw organic)
    *no dijon (didn't have any)

This turned out really well! - 10/28/13

Can I use fresh apple cider instead of apple juice? Any idea on how to make the apple chips so crunchy? - 10/2/13

This dressing is so good and very easy to put together. My whole family loved it on grilled chicken salad. I will definitely make sure I always have this in my fridge! - 2/28/13

This recipe is amazing! I modified the suggested contents of garlic and onion powder (using only 1/2 tbsp each). Other than that, followed it to a tee and it is tastes great. - 2/25/12

The fat grams should be 28 (14 per Tbsp olive oil) - 11/7/11

Awesome recipe. Very similar to panera. My family loved it! - 8/10/11

Panera's dressing is white, my dressing was very yellow and did not taste similar. Am I doing something wrong?!? - 7/24/11

Hubs has been requesting this for a few weeks. He's hooked on Panera Fuji Apple salad. This recipe is almost an exact match he says, except a bit too oily. - 5/26/09

Yeah, sorry about that... had a typo in the recipe. It should have been 2 tablespoons!
