2 Tbls Olive Oil500gm Premium Beef Mince1 Lg Onion, Chopped fine1 med Red Pepper, chopped2 tspn Garlic, minced100gm Tomato Paste3 Tbls Oyster Sauce2 tspn Thyme2 tspn Basil2 tspn fresh ground Chillies1 400g Can Chilli Beans (Red Kidney beans in a chilli sauce)1 400g Can of Tomatoes, Chopped
Brown Onion in a 1 Tbls oil, add the red pepper and herbs, cook a further 1-2 mins, then set aside. Brown Mince in the other Tbls Olive Oil until completely cooked and browned, aqdd the Oyster Sauce and Garlic and cook for a further 4 mins then return onions and paste and chilli and then stir through for a further 5 mins. Add Tomatoes and Kidney beans and simmer for as long as you like - The longer you cook the further the flavours assimilate - It's even better second time round so often I will cook it early in the day, let it cool, refridgerate, then reheat for Dinner!
