Swedish Rye Bread

Ingredients
1 cup Brown Sugar1/2 cup molasses2 T. butter1 cup milk1 T. salt3 cups cold water2 T. yeast (one if setting overnight)4 cups Rye Flour9 cups White Flour
Directions
Boil brown sugar, molasses, butter, and milk. Dissolve yeast in water and salt. In a mixer, mix the sugar mixture, the yeast mixture, 9 c. of white flour, and 4 c. of rye flour.
Knead the dough, then let rise. Punch it down and let it rise again. Put in pans and bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes.

    Is that correct, 12 servings @ 603.7 calories per serving? According to that, one serving of bread kills almost half of my daily calorie allotment. - 11/11/09
