Ingredients
DRY INGREDIENTS: 1 cup all-purpose unbleached flour1/2 cup whole wheat flour1/4 yellow corn meal1/4 cup wheat germ1 tsp salt2 1/2 tsp baking soda7 tbsp buttermilk powder1/4 tsp allspice1/4 tsp cinnamonWET INGREDIENTS:3 tbsp unsweetened applesauce1 3/4 cup water1 tbsp vanilla extract2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Directions
Preheat waffle iron.

In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Add applesauce, water and vanilla until combined. Add vinegar.

Makes about 6 large waffles each using about 3/4 cup of batter.
