Macaroni and Peas

Ingredients
8 oz Small Spelt Pasta Shells(or other type of small pasta)1 onion chopped2 TBSP olive oil2 cups frozen peas1 can, 15.5 oz, tomato sauce1 TBSP dried Basil or a cup of freshParmesan Cheese
Directions
1. Put large pasta pot on to boil.

2. Saute the onion in the olive oil.

3. When pasta water boils add peas for two minutes. Then add peas to onions.

4. Add tomato sauce and basil to the peas and onions and cook on low heat while pasta cooks.

5. Cook pasta according to package directions then drain and add to the pea mixture. Add a ladle or two of pasta water to the mixture and serve with lots of parmesan cheese.

Makes four servings.
