Crock Pot Short Ribs

3 lbs of short ribs2 tbs onion powder2 tbs garlic powder2 cups of beef broth16 oz of red wine3 tbs canola oil3 tbs flour
Rinse beef ribs and pat dry. Place ribs on end in crock pot. Add onion and garlic powders, broth, and a drinkable red wine. Set crock pot on high and cook for 5 hours.
Remove ribs from crock pot and keep warm.
Put oil in medium sauce pan, and heat. Add flour and stir to make a roux. Skim fat from crock pot and add remaining broth to roux. Heat until boiling, then reduce heat and let simmer, stirring often. Serve over pasta, rice, or potatos.
