Oatmeal Pumpkin Cookies

Ingredients
1.0 cup butter0.5 cup Motts original applesauce1 cup sugar2 cup packed brown sugar1 egg15oz pumpkin (if using fresh pumpkin, be sure to drain off some of the water or cookies will spread and flatten)1 tsp vanilla (can be generous here for more flavor)4 cup flour2 cup oats2 tsp baking soda1 tsp salt2 tsp cinnamon1 12 oz bag of chocolate chips
Directions
Cream butter and sugars, add pumpkin, egg and vanilla, mix well.

Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl.

Slowly combine dry and wet ingredients together.
Add chocolate chips last.

Drop by teaspoon full onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees.
Makes approx 8 dozen good sized cookies.
