Knoefla Soup

Ingredients
6 potatoes1 onionGarlic, to taste1/2 cup of butter or margarine7 cups of chicken broth4 cups of milksalt, to tastepepper, to tasteknoefla: 3 cups of floursalt, to taste2 eggsa few teaspoons of milk
Directions
Put butter, potatoes, garlic, onions, salt and pepper in a soup pan. Cook for about 20 to 25 minutes. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. In the meantime, mix together ingredients for the knoefla. After the mixture in the pot is boiling, take scissors and cut the dough into little pieces and drop one by one into the boiling mixture. Be cautious, the dough will grow. You don't want giant pieces. Take off of boil. After the knoefla is in, add the milk. Salt and pepper to taste. Let it cook for awhile to get the taste into the potatoes and knoefla.
