Pork Chop-Rice Casserole

Ingredients
2 cups Rice (Uncooked ) *I use brown rice2-1/2 cups water1/2 cup butter (or margerine) cut into 4 or 5 chunks1 package dry onion soup mix4-8 center cut pork chops (vary number based on how many you are feeding...recipe based on 4 chops)
Directions
1. Brown chops in frying pan, if desired.
2. Place rice in 9x13 roasting pan
3. Add water and onion soup mix...mix with rice
4. Place the chunks of butter on top of the rice
5. Place pork chops on top
6. Cover casserole with foil, bake 350 degrees for 1 hour
