Cream of Potato and Bacon Soup

Ingredients
1 tbsp Pepper, black, Bacon, 1 poundGarlic, 2 clove 6 medium Potato 1 stalk Celery1 small Onion 1/2 cup Butter,1/2 cup Flour1 carrotdash Salt, 1 tsp Garlic powder 2 cup Milk,
Directions
Fry bacon with garlic until crisp (do not drain)
Prepare potatoes, drain and set aside.
Saute onion, celery and set aside.

For Soup Base

Melt butter, add flour, mix together.
Add milk and stir, then add chicken broth and stir until thickening starts.
Add bacon and drippings, potatoes, onion, celery stir together.
Add salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste.
Add shredded carrot and simmer..
