Cut into 1/2 inch slices.Tzasiki sauce8 Tbsp. low fat sour cream1/4 small cucumber peeled, finely chopped or grated1 clove garlic, grated1/2 tsp. cuminJuice of 1/4 lemonSalt and pepper to tasteMix together all Tzasiki sauce ingredients.4 whole wheat pita bread1 red onion sliced1 tomato sliced or chopped3/4 cucumber, sliced8 lettuce leaves8 Tbsp. crumbled low fat feta cheeseWarm pita and cut in half. I use Trader Joe's whole wheat pitas (100 calories for 1 whole pita). Divide meat slices into 4 portions and place into pita halves. Place 1 tbsp. of Tzasiki sauce on each half. Garnish sandwiches with feta cheese, onions, lettuce, cucumber and tomato.
Makes 4 servings.
