Ingredients
Directions
3 Tbs. salted butter3 Tbs. white flour1/4 tsp. salt1/8 tsp. white pepper1 1/2 cup nonfat milk2 cups frozen peas
Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour, salt and pepper. Cook just a few minutes, until mixture thickens together. Add milk and bring to slight boil; then lower temperature and stir constantly until thickened to the consistency of gravy.
While the white gravy is cooking, prepare the peas (I cook the frozen peas in the microwave per package directions). Add the peas to the gravy.
Serving suggestion: serve over salmon patties and mashed potatoes.
