Let beans soak in water overnightin refrigerator. or quick soak by bringing beans to boin in water. immediately remove from heat and leave covered for 30 minutes prior to use. Drain. Combine all ingredients bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. serve in 1 cup servings. Add your favorite hot sauce for an added kick!
