Ingredients
1 pound lean ground turkey1 cup chopped raw onions3 Tbsp chili powder1 large can diced tomatoes (28 oz)1 10 oz can Ro*Tel tomatoes and chilis1 15.25 oz can black beans, rinsed and drained1 15.5 oz dark red kidney beans (or 2 cans of your favorites)
Directions
Makes 6-7 good-size servings.

In a large Dutch oven spray Pam and brown turkey over medium to high heat, with about a tablespoon of chili powder, breaking up chunks. Push the meat to one side in the pot.

Add the chopped onion to the pot and saute until they soften, maybe 3 minutes. Mix up the meat and onions and add in the rest of the chili powder and the tomatoes and beans. If you like it hotter or milder, change the amount of chili powder (or add some Tabasco), as you like it.

Simmer at low to medium heat, stirring frequently, for about 30 minutes.

Good recipe. If I liked ground turkey more, I'd say it was great. Goes together quick, makes a ton. The kids both really liked it (miracle!). So did their Dad, but he likes everything. - 11/2/09

I made this for my fiance tonight; I added extra chili powder, red bell peppers, and cayenne pepper. It was awesome! I'm going to try the leftovers over brown rice for lunch. Great recipe! - 9/16/09

I make mine with chili beans rather than the chili powder and other beans but basically same idea. It is definitely my favorite chili. - 9/9/09
