Slow Cooker Spaghetti

Ingredients
1/8 cup olive oil2 T minced garlic1 medium yellow onion, chopped2 stalks green onion, chopped5 small stalks celery, chopped1 medium green bell pepper, chopped8 medium carrots, sliced1 lb ground bison (leave out for vegetarian meal)1 3/4 jars organic pasta sauce1 can organic diced tomatoes2 T sugar2 T Italian seasoning2 t sea salt1/2 cup to 1 cup water15 servings cooked angel hair pasta
Directions
Saute all veggies in olive oil until tender. Put veggies in crock pot and brown ground bison. Drain grease and add to crock pot. Pour pasta sauce, diced tomatoes and water into crock pot and stir well. Add sugar, Italian seasoning, and salt to taste. Cook on high for 4-6 hours, then on low until ready to serve. Serve over cooked angel hair pasta. Can be made without bison for vegetarian meal. Veggies can also be varied -- zucchini, black olives, artichoke hearts - whatever your family enjoys.
