Company's Coming Bran Muffins(no raisons)

1 c flour1 tsp. baking pwdr1 tsp. baking soda1/2 tsp salt1 c. Sour Milk1 c. Natural Bran1/3 c. oil3 tbsp molasses1 egg1/4 c. brown sugar1/2 tsp. vanilla
In large bowl combine flour, baking powder soda, salt. Stir well. Make large well in center.
In another bowl stir sour milk with bran. Let stand 5 minutes. ( add 1 tbsp vinegar to milk to make sour)
Add remaining ingredients to bran mixture in order given. Beat with spoon until mixed. Pour into well. Stir just to moisten. Batter will be lumpy. Fill greased muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake in 375F oven for 20-25 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Remove from pan. makes 12.
