Basic Red Bean Chili

Ingredients
1 clove garlic, minced1/2 onion, diced1 green pepper, diced1 tsp Olive Oil1 10oz can Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilis1 8oz can Tomato Sauce (no added salt)1 15.5oz can Dark Red Kidney Beans, drained and rinsed3 large tomatoes, diced1 tsp salt1 1/3 cup Morning Star Meal Starter Crumbles (optional)
Directions
Dice Onion and Garlic and sautee in 1 Tbsp Olive Oil until onions are transparent. Add green pepper and cook a few more minutes.

Add remaining ingredients (except crumbles) and any desired spices (I added paprika, chili powder, basil, oregano, and a little cinnamon) and simmer for 30 minutes.

For a meatier texture, Morning Star Meal Starter Crumbles can be added during last 15 minutes of simmering.

Serves 2-3.
