Garlicky Pasta w/Herbs & sausage bites

12 oz uncooked whole-wheat spaghetti2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil4 tsp minced garlic2 Tbsp dried parsley1 tsp dried leaf sage1 tsp dried leaf marjoram2 tsp dried oregano1 tsp dried leaf thyme1 1/3 Tbsp dried basil1 1/3 Tbsp Chives, freeze-dried2 tsp Italian seasoning1 cup vegetable broth1/2 cup finely chopped onion1 pound Jennie-O Turkey Lean Sweet Italian sausage link
Cook spaghetti according to directions on box until "al dente".
Measure out the vegetable broth (or stock) into cup or bowl. Add all the dried spices to the vegetable broth (or stock) and set aside.
While spaghetti is cooking, coat large skillet with cooking spray, cook onions in the olive oil until softened. Add garlic and heat until it is soft and smells fragrant (a few moments.) Add cut up sausage pieces ; cook until done stirring frequently , about 10 minutes.
Add vegetable stock with herbs to meat mixture. Heat up; takes only a minute or two then remove from heat.
Drain the pasta and toss with the garlicky sausage and herb mixture.
Do not add cheese as it interferes with the herby flavors. Cover and let set for 10 minutes.
Add salt and pepper as desired.
