Stewed Tomatoes

Ingredients
8 large ripe tomatoes1 tbsp white sugar1 tbsp lemon juice1/4 tsp black pepper1 tbsp salt
Directions
peel and dice tomatoes. put into sterilized pint jars. add sugar, lemon juice, pepper and salt.
seal and water bath for 20 minutes. don't add any liquid. I usually make about 12 jars at a time.
