Slow Cooker Homemade Beans

9 cups cooked beans, 3 cups dried2 cups tomato sauce2 cups water1/4 cup molasses1 large onion, chopped1 tablespoon dry mustard1 teaspoon salt6 slices thick cut bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces1/2 cup brown sugar4 cloves of garlicgarlic powder to taste
Soak beans overnight.
Drain soaking liquid from beans and place the beans into slow cooker.
You may save the liquid from the beans to use if needed.
Stir in tomato sauce, water, molasses, onion,mustard, salt, bacon, brown sugar and garlic into beans until well mixed.
Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
You may cook on high for a few hours then turn to low.
Makes 12 1 cup servings.
