Ed's Italian Tomato Sauce

1 cup Red Wine1 6oz can Tomato Paste4 cloves garlic3 medium carrots2 medium oniona3 medium stalks celery2 Tbs Italian herbs2 Tbs olive oil1 can (12 cups) whole tomatoes peeled in tomato juice
Makes 15 1 cup servings
Peel and dice carrots
Dice celery stalks
Dice onions
Dice garlic cloves
Heat olive oil and add vegetables, cook at medium heat for 12minutes.
Add tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes.
Add tomatoes with juice , red wine, Italian herbs, raise heat and bring to a boil.
Once the sauce boils lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
