Carrots, raw, 6 large (7-1/4" to 8-1/2" long) (remove)Celery, raw, 4 stalk, large (11"-12" long) (remove)Onions, raw, 2 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)Salt, 3 tbsp (remove)Pepper, black, 3 tbsp (remove)*Potato, raw, 2 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) (remove)*Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes, 4 cup (remove)Lentils, 4 cup (remove)Water, tap, 64 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)
clean veggies, rinse lentils.Put everything in the pot and let low boil for 2 hours or until reduced by one to two cups of water. Ready to serve. Season to taste. You can use chicken or beef bullion to give it some zip but then it wlll not be vegitarian.
