Ingredients
1/2 C lentils1/2 C basmati rice1 tsp olive oil1 tsp mustard seed1 tsp cumin seed2 C waterHeat the olive oil in a heavy bottomed pan, add mustard seeds and saute until they start to pop. Add cumin seeds and saute until slightly brown. Add washed and drained lentils and rice. Bring to boil. Reduce to simmer and cover. Cook until water is absorbed. Serve hot.
