Cranberry Sauce (1/2 cup is a serving)
- Number of Servings: 5
Ingredients
Directions
12 oz bag cranberrieshalf of a small orange100 grams pomegranate seeds (these are crunchy in the finished products, so leave these out if you won't like that)1 cup splenda1 cup water
Bring water and dissolved spenda to a boil. Add cranberries. Return to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes while the cranberries burst and start to look like a sauce.
Then add in the remaining ingredients. I squeezed the juice of the orange half in first, and then diced it up into little pieces for the sauce itself.
Makes 2.5 cups (5 half cup servings). A yummy source of potassium and vitamin C without a lot of calories or work.
