Beef stew base (crock pot)

Ingredients
1 1/2 lb lean beef, cut in cubes (stew meat, round steak, chuck roast, etc)1 can low sodium beef broth1 envelope onion soup mix1 can low fat cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
Directions
Mix broth, onion soup mix, and mushroom soup in crockpot. Add meat. Cook on low for 8-10 hours. May thicken with about a tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with about 1/4 cup cold water. Add this to crockpot about an hour before finish time. You may add vegatables during cooking, if desired. Good served over noodles or rice. 6 servings.
