Macaroni and cottage cheese

Ingredients
2 c. cooked macaroni (preferably whole wheat)1 t. minced garlic (1 clove) or dijon mustard1 c. lowfat cottage cheese1 egg4 T shredded cheese (about 2 oz.; cheddar used in calculations but Italian blend works well)breadcrumbs (1 oz used in calculations, but optional)salt, pepper to tast
Directions
Grease casserole dish or baking pan. Mix milk and cottage cheese thoroughly (I use an immersion blender) and add egg. Then add garlic or dijon, salt and pepper, grated cheese and cooked macaroni. Pour into the greased pan (on top of spinach if desired) and top with breadcrumbs if desired. Bake for about 1 hour until egg set all through. Makes 4 dinner servings or 8 as side dish

    I looked up the recipe on cooks.com, and it lists 1 c skim milk. It also lists the calorie count as 80 per 8-oz cup, which seemed far too low. Sorry I don't know how to edit the recipe once posted.

    What is the oven temp? I set my oven for 300 a very small fast baking apartment size oven. Thanks - 8/22/11

    Oops. I don't remember. My default oven temperature is 350 F, and I usually don't bake below 325 unless specified in the recipe, but I'd be interested in hearing if 300 works.
