Spicy Turkey Black Bean Chili

Ingredients
• 1.5 lb lean ground turkey• 2 cups red bell pepper, finely chopped• 1 cup red onion, chopped• 2-3 whole tomatoes (large)• 4 large garlic cloves, minced• 1 15 oz can black beans, drained and rinsed• 3 cups chicken broth• 1 tablespoon tomato paste• 3 fresh jalapenos, diced (optional)• 1 tablespoon of olive oil• 2 tablespoons ground cumin• 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper• 2 teaspoons paprika• 2 tablespoons dried oregano• Salt (to taste)• Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
Directions
Sautee peppers, onion, and garlic until tender (about 6-8 minutes)
Add seasonings, stir to blend
Add turkey and sautee until turkey is not longer pink (about 3 minutes)
Add beans, broth, tomato paste and tomatoes and bring to a boil
Reduce heat and simmer until liquid thickens, stirring occasionally (about 1 hour)
