Venison Taco Bean Soup

Ingredients
1 lb. ground venison (or very lean beef)3 Tbsp Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning (1 oz packet)4 Tbsp Old El Paso Taco Seasoning, reduced salt1 can Sweet Corn, no salt added1 can Red Beans1 can White Hominy1 can Pinto Beans1 can Chicken Broth, fat free, less sodium1 can Ro Tel1 can Stewed Tomatoes, no salt added
Directions
Makes around 14 1 cup servings.
Brown the venison with the dry seasoning mixes. Add all of the canned goods. Heat. Allow to simmer for at least 45 minutes.
This gets better with time. Serve with Baked Tortilla Chips, fat free sour cream and Cheese if desired (calories not included).

    When I defrost my ground venison in the frig I poke several holes in the bottom of the plastic bag, place it in a bowl and allow it to drain. My DH can taste the difference.

    You are so welcome. Mine (husband) is leaving in the morning for pheasant hunting. Sorry about the large sodium, it is hard to keep everything low. Enjoy.
