Low-Fat Hearty Macaroni & Cheese Dish

Ingredients
7 oz whole wheat rotini noodles 1 c. egg beaters original6 oz fat-free cheddar cheese7 1/2 tbsp flour7 1/2 tbsp country crock (margarine spread)3/4 tsp salt1/.4 tsp pepper (or to your liking)3 3/4 c. non-fat skim milkpaprika
Directions
1. Boil macaroni per directions, drain when done and set
aside
2. Mix flour, margarine, salt & pepper in 2-qt sauce pan &
cook over low heat. Mixture will thicken but be careful it
burns easily.
3. Gradually add in skim milk & mix well with NO lumps.
4. Add in shredded cheese & continue stirring until melted.
5. Add in egg beater. (If using real eggs, mix slightly in a
separate bowl before adding.)
6. Add Macaroni to cheese-sauce & mix well as adding
7. Spray 9 x 13 pan with non-stick spray & pour mix into
8. Sprinkle paprika over top
9. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 – 50 minutes uncovered until
golden brown on top.

Serve hot from the oven; Calories based on 10 servings using above ingredients. **NOTE calorie difference if real eggs are used - not much.
