Beer Bread

Ingredients
3 cups self rising flour3 TBS sugar1 bottle of beer4 TBS buttersprinkled sugar
Directions
3 cups self rising flour
3 tbsp sugar
1 bottle (12 oz) beer

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

mix flour and sugar together, then add beer.

Spray loaf pan with non stick cooking spray (don't need to flour)

Batter will be very sticky, I usually use a silicone spatula to scrape it into the loaf pan.

Bake for 45 minutes

Melt 4 tbsp margarine/butter and pour over bread. Sprinkle desired amount of sugar over top of butter.

Bake for an additional 15 minutes.

Allow to cool in pan for 10 minutes then turn out onto a cooling rack. Cool to desired temperature, then slice, spread with butter, and eat.
