Rice with Lentils (Pongal)

1) Moong dal - 1 cup2) Rice - 1 cups3) Salt to taste4) Ground black pepper - 3 tsp5) Ghee - 1 tbsp4) Cumin seeds - 1 tsp5) Curry leaves
1) Pressure cook the rice and moong dal together.
2) In a pan, add the ghee, cumin seeds, ground black pepper, curry leaves and salt. To this, add the cooked rice and dal.
3) Serve piping hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
This makes 8 1 cup servings.
