Whole Wheat Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
3/16 cup of smart balance butter softened3/16 cup of apple sauce sweetened w/ splenda1/2 cup of sugar1/2 cup of splenda brown sugar 1 tbsp of honey1.5 teaspoon of cinnamon3/4 tsp of vanilla extract1 egg1 cup whole wheat flour1/2 blended oats3/8 tsp of baking sode1/2 tsp of salt1 cup of dark chocolate chips1/4 cup of chopped walnuts
Directions
1. Preheat over to 375 degrees. Grease cookie sheet

2. Cream together Smart Balance, apple sauce, white sugar, splenda brown sugar, and honey until smooth. Stir in the vanilla and and egg. Combine whole wheat flour, oats, baking soda, and salt, gradually blend into the creamed mixture. Fold in dark chocolate chips and walnuts. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheet.

3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool for a minimum of 5 minutes before serving.
