Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Ingredients
1/2 pound (2 sticks) Butter (unsalted, sweat cream)1 cup firmly packed Brown Sugar1.2 cup Granulated Sugar2 Eggs1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract1.5 cups Pillsbury All-Purpose Flour1 teaspoon Baking Soda1 teaspoon Cinnamon1/2 teaspoon Salt (optional)3 cups Quaker Oats1 cup Raisins
Directions
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
2. Beat together butter and sugars until creamy.
3. Add eggs and vanila; beat well.
4. add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well.
5. Stir in oats and raisins; mix well.
6. Dop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet (use parchment paper if needed).
7. Back 12 minutes or until almost golden brown (they darken while cooling).
8. Cool 8 minutes on cookie sheet (until cookie firms up); remove to wire rack.
