Ingredients
2 - 16oz cans of chick peas2 1/2 tbsp of tahinijuice of 1 lemon1 1/2 tbsp of minced garlic1 whole red or yellow sweet pepper, quartered2 tsp ground cumin1 tbsp of cayenne pepper1tsp Tabasco (optional)salt to taste
Directions
In a food processor, combine all ingredients until smooth.
Makes about 8 - 1/2cup servings.

    Very good hummus! You can also use dried chickpeas soaked 24 hours in fridge with a touch of baking soda. Then rinse very well. Then precede with the other ingredients... but your is great also. - 6/29/07
