Pesarattu green gram crepes

Ingredients
*moong dal, 1.5 cup *Rice, white, long-grain, regular, raw, enriched, .5 cup Ginger Root, 5 slices (1" dia) *Jalapeno pepper raw (1 pepper)., 5 serving *Large Onion Raw, 1 serving salt to taste
Directions
Just grind the moong dal with the rice, ginger, 3 jalapeno and salt.

Fry the chopped onion, ginger, jalapenos till the onions turn brown.

Then make the crepes and once its done, stuff with the onion mixture and serve with any pickle or chutney.

    I'm coming over for breakfast to eat your mung dal pancakes with ginger chutney! I like the idea of adding a bit of rice to mung dal to enrich the carbs. Sure to try this recipe but, perhaps with peanut chutney to add protein to the mix. - 12/27/09
